Born in New York City, Chef Matt Greene is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America. His passion for local, sustainable ingredients sparked during an externship in the great food city of Chicago and has been the driving force behind his cooking ever since. His professional experience covers an array of cuisines — from Asian to Mediterranean, in a variety of venues, from fine dining and intimate inns to resorts in Boston, Chicago, and Washington DC.
Since joining Duvall in 2009, Matt and his culinary team of 21 have created incredible food experiences for an array of events. Whether he's preparing Charleston home cooking for private dinner parties with The Lee Bros., an extravagant sushi display for international tennis stars at The Family Circle Cup or a contemporary served dinner reception for 300, Matt and his team work to ensure every bite is worth savoring.
